Dharawal Guided Indigenous Tours

Dharawal Guided Indigenous Tours

Dates: 2nd Saturday of every month February to November 2017

There’s never been a better time to get outdoors and discover Campbelltown’s beautiful Dharawal National Park, with the popular Guided Indigenous Tours happening again in 2017.

Held on the second Saturday of every month between February and November, the tours are led by an Aboriginal Discovery Ranger and provide a wonderful look at the beautiful Australian landscape from a Koori perspective. The tours are led by National Parks Aboriginal Discovery Rangers, who share personal insights as they take participants on a cultural journey.

Dharawal National Park is a great destination for a day in the great outdoors, with walking and bike tracks, waterfalls and rock pools, and the chance to spot native flora and fauna.

Additions to the bushwalk series in 2017 are two new tours – Strollabout Tours and Accessible Tours. The Strollabout Tours have been specially designed for parents with toddlers and young children in strollers; and the Accessible Tours have been created for people in wheelchairs or mobility scooters.

The tours are 1.5 hours in duration and tickets are $10 per person. Bookings are essential and places are strictly limited. Wear comfortable walking shoes and a hat, and bring a bottle of water.
